Ingredients
Preparation
Lightly grease a small cast iron skillet and place it into the oven to pre-heat.
Step 1 - Pre Heat

Temperature: 400 °F
Steam: 70%
In a medium size mixing bowl, whisk together all purpose flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and add the buttermilk and one egg. Mix together to combine and add slightly cooled melted butter. Mix the batter until combined. Remove the cast iron skillet from the oven and pour the batter into the hot skillet to create that crunchy, buttery crust.
Step 2 - Bake

Sous Vide Mode: Off
Temperature: 400 °F
Steam: 70%
Place the cast iron skillet back into the oven and bake until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cornbread comes out clean. When done remove from heat and allow to cool for about 5 minutes before slicing the corn bread.
